15th Century Arming Doublet Gambeson - Quilted Cotton Armor Padding with Full Sleeves, Arming Points & Front Lace Closure

This 15th-century arming doublet is constructed with a cotton canvas outer, a breathable cotton lining, and a quilted padded core designed for comfort and structured wear. The layered construction helps provide cushioning while worn under armor or as a standalone garment. Full-length sleeves are fitted with reinforced arming points for attaching additional armor pieces, and the front lace-up closure allows easy adjustment for a secure fit. A high stand-up collar adds coverage to the neck and upper chest area. Suitable for LARP, reenactment, historical costume, and stage use. Slight variations may occur due to the manufacturing process.

As the middle age proceeded towards its end, it was becoming less needed for the knight to wear heavily padded gambeson, leading to the creation of our arming doublet. It allows all the components of plate armour to be laced on its structure and function properly together as a single unit. Providing enough padding to make wearing plate armour more comfortable and act as a great shock absorber.

The entire doublet is provided with several tough aiglets made of pure solid brass. Thanks to plenty of aiglets allowing it to close and place pieces of armour on it.
